Library Journal Review
Written in 1922, this is not one of Scott's better-known stories, yet it's great fun to read and still quite poignant. It follows our eponymous hero's backwards life: Benjamin is born an old man, and, like Merlin, -youthens with the passing of time. As an infant old man and an adult baby, he suffers the same age-related prejudices, just in reverse. The story is the basis for a forthcoming film of the same name starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. Not too shabby. Copyright 2007 Reed Business Information. From: Reed Elsevier Inc.
